THE OFFICIAL WEBSITE OF THE PENNSIC WARS
Change in date for Pennsic 42
In 2013, the Pennsic War will take place from July 19 - August 4. This is 1 week
earlier than it would normally be held. (see schedule of future Pennsic dates)
Pennsic 42 was rescheduled because Cooper's Lake Campground was chosen to
be the site of the Pyrotechnics Guild International, Inc. annual convention
from August 12-16, 2013.
PGI is an independent worldwide nonprofit organization of 3,500 amateur and professional
fireworks enthusiasts.
Each night, convention participants will compete in fireworks competitions,
and there will be three nights of multi-hour fireworks displays.
More than 20,000 fireworks enthusiasts from across the nation are expected to attend.
