Middle-Eastern Classes at Pennsic
Classes on Middle-Eastern culture, garb, language, etc. are held in the
A&S tents of Pennsic University (see map).
Middle-Eastern dance, music, and related classes take place at several other locations:
- The Middle-Eastern Tent is located on the Great Middle Highway just across from Runestone Park. It is at the
end of the row of merchants' tents, next to the Pennsic Independent. (see map)
- Classes, listed in the Pennsic Book, usually run from 9 am to 6 pm. Occasionally there will be an earlier or later class by
teacher request.
- Orluk Oasis is a private camp located in block W-10,
along Roman Road at the north end of the lake.
- Classes, listed in the Pennsic Book, usually run from 9 am to 6 pm. As this is a private camp, classes are not
scheduled beyond these hours out of respect for the residents who may not wish to rise early or who may wish to eat
dinner in peace.

-
Along Battle Road there are a few hospitable merchants who open their store areas to music classes.
- These classes are coordinated between the teachers and the merchants, but may appear in the Pennsic Book if the
teachers submit their class registrations via the Pennsic website. This is, of course,
preferred, as the Pennsic book is the best way for students to find classes.
The Middle-Eastern class coordinator, TH Lady Mihri Deniz Yetim, is happy to answer any questions regarding
Middle-Eastern classes that cannot be answered by the Pennsic University FAQs.
