Land Agents / Groups
- Land Agents must have an e-mail account and Internet access; e-mail assures
that all land representatives can contact each other easily, and save a great deal of
time and money.
- All Land Agents will be expected and required to negotiate in good
faith, via e-mail/the Internet, prior to arrival at Pennsic 37. Your contact information will not
be posted to any public forum, but will be given to the other groups in your block and to
members of the Pennsic staff if needed.
- Groups, once again, will have the option to "voluntarily reduce the size"
of their land allotment in an effort to not be moved from their traditional land blocks.
There is no guarantee that this reduction will put you in the block you want, but every effort
will be taken to do this. See the instructions on the registration form.
- All groups must have an on-site Land Agent to
- Negotiate for Land
- Rope off the entire encampment perimeter
- Be available to discuss problems, situations, and other land-related issues
with the Land Staff.
-
Land that is not roped off or is unattended will be considered abandoned. No "ghost
camps" will be allowed. If you have a problem and must leave the site without
first setting up your encampment, contact the Land Office and we will see what we can
do for you.
- As always, the final placement of any and all land groups is at the sole discretion
of the Land Office.
Royal Encampments
In an effort to standardize, it is heavily suggested that all Royal Encampment Land Agents
register their group as "KINGDOM OF ______" (ex: Kingdom of the East,
Kingdom of the Middle, etc.) This makes it easier to find them all on an alphabetized list.
Instruct those persons who will be camping in the Royal Encampment to use the official
registered group name on their Individual pre-registration forms, under "Group
Camping With." "[Kingdom's Name] Royal" will just confuse Baron Devon,
and may be missed so that numbers are not counted correctly.
For people planning a "Populace/Subjects of the Kingdom" encampment, please register
as "[Kingdom Name] Populace/Subjects" (ex: Meridies Populace or Meridian
Subjects - either works, as long as it's consistent.) Every step will be taken to try to
put the KINGDOM OF and the SUBJECTS close together.
Royal Land Agents can e-mail the Royalty Liaison for help.
If you have any other questions, contact the
Land Staff.
