INSPECTIONS / RULES
MARSHALS

Siege Weapons & Combat Archery

Greetings from Lady Svanhildr Karlsdottir,
Pennsic 37 Siege Weapons Marshal in Charge and East Kingdom Deputy Siege Marshal.

Official siege activity at Pennsic 37 will be limited to the main battlefield, and to SCA siege criteria, unless otherwise defined below. In case of disputes, the Pennsic 37 Marshal in Charge will make the final call.

As Society minimum armor regulations are used for heavy weapons fighters, Society siege rules will be used for governing all siege activities unless otherwise stated below.

Siege will take place during the following battles:

  • Battle of Rome
  • Town Battle
  • 3rd Bridge Battle
  • Last 2 Field Battles
A day of Missile Competitions is also planned. See the schedule for times and details.

Marshals

All Siege Marshals shall wear the standard black Marshal's tabard with staff, and at least SCA-required personal protection of goggles or a helmet in battles that have missiles. If you are going to marshal in armor, a tabard over the armor and helmet with drape is required.

Please be at Marshals' Point 45 minutes prior to any battle you will be marshaling. All meetings for siege marshals will be posted at Inspection Point.

Classes

Please see the Pennsic University listings for all siege-related classes.

Note: There may be changes to scenarios, rules, and schedules; these will be posted at Inspection Point.
