Will you be teaching with other instructors?
Yes

Note: The person listed in the 'About You' section above
is considered the primary teacher and will be listed as such in the Pennsic book.
Teaching in a Private Camp / Merchant Booth
Teaching in Private Camps or Merchant Booths is regulated. Please provide a reason for using it, such as using large unmoveable
equipment such as a bread oven, large loom, forge, etc. Keep in mind that students often get lost.
Please plan to provide A&S Point with a highly detailed map for your students when you do Teacher Check-In at Pennsic.
Pennsic University is not responsible for coming up with directions to your camp/booth for your class.
Since we do not limit classes, any number of students, from 1 to 100, could show up. Keep this in mind as you plan for your Private
camp or Merchant Booth class.
Do you need to teach in a camp?
Yes
No
If "YES", the name of your camp/merchant booth and its anticipated block or merchant number. (This may be updated on-site, if needed.)
Reason for teaching in a private camp/merchant booth (25 words or less, please)
Age Ranges or Limits
To better assist both teachers and their prospective students, please
indicate the age group(s) at which your class is targeted.
If your class is open to anyone, please check the "not age specific" option.
There should
be age restrictions on a class involving hands-on martial arts,
metal casting or
anything else that might pose a danger for young students. The
comprehension level or appropriateness of the class should also be considered.
Pennsic University classes targeted at students under 18 years of age MAY NOT be scheduled in Private Camps or Merchant Booths.
Age Ranges/Limits (check all that apply, or 'not age specific')
not age specific
adults only (18 and up)
teens (13-18 years)
children (9-12 years)
young children (5-8 years)
HELP ON PRIVATE CAMPS/MERCHANT BOOTHS - AGE LIMITS
Handout Fees
If you set a handout fee, it will be noted in the class description.
Remember, some people may choose to attend the class and
opt to not take the handout. Since you will not know how many
students will be attending your class in advance of your arrival
at Pennsic, you should make your "best guess" as to the number
of copies you will need, based on previous teaching experience
or by speaking to other teachers.
Hand-out Fee, if any
$
If you plan on having a very limited number of handouts, please specify the number:
Materials Fees
You may charge only for materials used in your class, not for your time.
Please specify what items the charge will cover and list them below.
Again, this is to cover your expenses and is not considered a
charge for the class. Fees will be listed for those classes
where there are "consumables" or items needed for
the creation of a student project during the class. You may neither require your
students to buy kits or finished items that you have made, nor charge
students who wish to listen but not participate in your class. There are no
raffles or drawings allowed in A&S classes.
Materials Fee, if any
$
If you plan on having a very limited amount of materials, how many students
will receive them?
Fee Details
If there is a handout fee or materials fee for your class,
please itemize them here.
