From the Lord MayorThe vision of the staff this year is focused on the period-ness of the event. We hope that you will like our changes and decorations. See what simple things you can do around your camp to aid to the general atmosphere of the event.A couple of changes for everyone to be aware of… First, we have changed the name of Public Safety to "The Watch." This really reflects their duties and responsibilities. We function as a neighborhood watch. You and your neighbors are just as important as the people on carts (and besides, the name is cooler). Please sign up for a shift and help us have a strong Watch. Second, we have a new woods battle area. Third, we are trying to demystify the running of Pennsic. Please come meet the mayor in Town Hall (across from the Cooper’s Store). I will have office hours every day from 2 pm - 4 pm unless other responsibilities pull me away. Should you need me at other times, please find any staff member with a radio, and they will be able to reach me. I would love to talk to YOU about helping out on Pennsic Staff. (Also see the Mayor's letter regarding minors and A&S classes this year). With all of this being said, there are many other wonderful new offerings. Please get out and try something new while at the war. You won’t regret it!
