Cultural Affairs at Pennsic
Among the Cultural Activities at Pennsic you will find:
- Classes covering SCA periods and cultures from the Dark Ages to the Renaissance
- Dances and balls of both Europe and points farther East
- Multiple venues showcasing talented entertainers from all the performance arts represented by the SCA; and
- Fantastic displays of the Arts and Sciences by craftspeople of the SCA.
All activities offered by the staff and volunteers of Pennsic War and advertised in the Pennsic Book are free of charge and open to all Pennsic attendees.
→ Some events may not be suitable for minors; parents should always supervise what their minor children are attending.
→ Some classes may offer materials and handouts at cost, but these are optional and participants are not required to buy anything to attend classes or performances.
All of the teachers, performers, and exhibitors at Cultural Affairs events do so as volunteers and none of these people receive any compensation for their skills. Please take the time to thank them for their time, effort, knowledge, and skills whenever you can.
