Siege Weapons

NOTE: There may be changes to scenarios, rules, and schedules; these will be posted at Inspection Point.


The Siege Competition War Point will be on Tuesday, Aug 5 from 2 - 4 pm

Siege weapons will also used in the Bridge Battles (Thursday) and the Castle Battles (Friday).

Siege inspection will take place on the battlefield during the middle weekend:

Friday, Aug 1 5 pm - 7 pm
Saturday, Aug 2 4 pm - 7 pm
Sunday, Aug 3 3 pm - 7 pm

Get your engines and structures inspected early, so that if you have a problem you will have time to get it fixed and re-inspected.

Siege ammunition inspections at Inspection Point will cease 45 minutes prior to the posted start time of any battle.

Siege Rules

Society Siege Rules will be used for governing all siege activities unless otherwise stated in the rules below.

Pennsic 43 Siege Rules

Official siege activity at Pennsic 43 will be limited to the main battlefield. In case of disputes, the Pennsic 43 Marshal in Charge will make the final call.

Pennsic War is an annual event between the East and Middle Kingdoms of the Society for Creative Anachronism, Inc., and takes place within the Kingdom of Æthelmearc at Coopers' Lake Campground.
