Head Waterbearer

Aurora Balint

Pennsic Waterbearers are on the battlefield each day, cleaning, sanitizing and filling jugs. Please join us in providing hydration to fighters and spectators alike!

Water Bottle donations: We will need a lot of empty gallon water jugs for War Week. We would appreciate it if camps who use bottled water could save the jugs (with lids!) and drop them off at the battlefield Water Point "corral". Note: the easiest way to transport a bundle of jugs is to loop a piece of string through the handles.

Tourney organizers: if you want us to provide water at the smaller lists, please contact us ahead of time to make arrangements. The more notice we have, the better prepared we can be.

Remember to drink early and drink often– water that is!

We appreciate any and all help that we get during the week, and so do the fighters!

Mornings: come 1.5 hours before the start of each day's War Point battles (armored and rapier) to fill and distribute water bottles.
Afternoons: come for a few hours after each day's final battle, to collect, clean and refill bottles.

Whether you help us clean and fill jugs, or carry water to the fighters and spectators, we appreciate any and all assistance, from one hour to several days! Without your assistance we would have a lot more hydration issues throughout the war.

Please remember these simple rules for watering during battles:
