Heralds' Point is
located behind Children's Activities,
near Information Point and the Coopers' Camp Store.
We offer consultation on SCA names and armory, advice and information for the general populace from all kingdoms, and
experience and education for heralds of all levels of skill.
We will research names or armory for you, your household, or your local branch. Devices, badges, order or award names – we will do it all.
This is a full service table; when you return the next day, we will have all the forms and paperwork done for you to approve.
For most kingdoms, we accept payment and then send everything to your kingdom submissions herald. Some kingdoms do not accept
submissions directly from Pennsic; for those kingdoms, you pick up the paperwork and mail to your kingdom submissions herald, along with the proper fees.
IMPORTANT - If you need help with a branch submission, several submissions, or a complicated or culturally-specific submission, please come to
the Point as early in the War as you can and make an appointment. This allows us get you the best help we can provide.
Volunteers of all kinds are always needed! We have several opportunities for willing hands, some that require no prior experience or heraldic
knowledge, such as greeters, artists, and colorers. For the detail-oriented, we are happy to train on our internal processes and administrative work.
Come by any time we're open to volunteer for these needs!
We will need strong backs Sunday and Monday of Peace week for set up and Thursday and Friday of War week for tear down.
As always, we need warranted exchequers to help take payment and make deposits to the War Exchequer and heralds who can consult
on names or armory. We have many books and other resources (including senior heralds you can learn from!).
To volunteer for Heralds' Point (or any other Pennsic department) prior to Pennsic, please use our
