The Watch

Deputy Mayor

Lord Tommaso Valeriano

The Watch is here to help you have a safe and enjoyable event.

In all cases, we ask that all attendees remember the ideals of our Society and treat each other with respect.

The Watch tent is located at the corner of Dragon Trace and Brewer’s Road, opposite from Troll (see map).

Children at Pennsic

All Parents are asked to read the site rules regarding children and minors at Pennsic. (Site rules are also in the Pennsic booklet given to all Pennsic attendees.) The Watch and Pennsic are not a babysitting service. Please take care of your children and please remind them of curfew rules.

As Pennsic attendance increases, so do the number of vehicles on site. Please do not abuse the Site Rules about parking. Unpack your car and park it as soon as possible. Set up your camp after you have parked your car.

It is extremely important that the roads remain passable so emergency and working vehicles can get through. In past years, we have come close to losing the bus service because of vehicles blocking the road.

Please read the Traffic and Parking Policies section of the Site Rules closely. We are asking that vehicles be parked on only one side of each road this year. Vehicles left in camp or parked in violation of the parking rules will be towed this year, and repeat offenders will be removed from the site.

For those who have helped us in the past with keeping the roads clear, I would like to personally thank you. We greatly appreciate your support in helping to make this a safe and fun vacation for everyone.

Mobility Assistance

The Pennsic staff understands that not everyone can easily ride on the buses. For Pennsic War 43, there will be two golf carts that will follow the same schedule and route as the buses to assist those with mobility needs.

If at all possible, please consider using the bus service to and from A&S classes. The specialized transportation service is not for party-hopping or taking people home when they are drunk.

For hours of operation and route, please refer to the bus information.

As always, we are looking for volunteers to staff The Watch. We welcome your help in this endeavor.

Volunteer Requirements

If you want to sign-up to volunteer for The Watch, visit The Watch Point tent (corner of Brewers Road and Dragon Trace). Bring your photo ID to register.
