Family Point

Famiy Point has programming focused mainly for children under the age of 10.

Pennsic YouthU & TeenU

YouthU is a series of classes run through Pennsic University aimed specifically at those ages 10-13.

Tween/Teen nights

These gatherings in Family Point give tweens and teens opportunities to spend time together in a spot with lights and table space. Games, Electronics, Art, and conversation are welcome. Often there are snacks.

Each gathering will have a background-checked supervisor and second non-related adult. As in any space, we do not tolerate any bullying or harassment, per Society guidelines.

Tween/Teen nights - 6:00 - 9:00 pm on Thursday, August 2; Friday, August 3; Monday, August 6; and Tuesday, August 7

Schedule of Family Activities

The Family Activities Schedule lists activities for Family Point, plus Youth/Family activities in the Arts, Martial Activities (Youth Combat, Fencing, and Archery) and special events such as the Children's Fete & the Water Battle at the Fort.

When you are at Pennsic, check for updates to Family activities at Family Point, Info Point, the Town Crier notice boards, and the daily paper.

Youth A&S Display - Sunday, August 5

The Youth Arts & Sciences Display will take in the Great Hall at the same time as the general Arts & Sciences Display, from 1 - 5 pm.

The Youth Display will be in a designated area near the entrance of the Hall. Artisans may set up between 11:30 am - 1 pm.

To Register:

  • Before Pennsic: Send an email with your name (SCA and Modern) and a brief description of your display.
  • At Pennsic: Come to University Point before 3:00 pm Saturday Aug 4; there will be a Youth A&S Display sign-up sheet.

    Documentation sheets will be available at University Point and at the sign-in table during the display.

  • Pennsic War is an annual event between the East and Middle Kingdoms of the Society for Creative Anachronism, Inc., and takes place within the Kingdom of Æthelmearc at Cooper's Lake Campground. Webhosting services are generously donated by (Public Access Networks Corporation). The Pennsic War event staff thank Panix for their continued support of the SCA and the Pennsic War.
