Welcome to Pennsic!
As folks arrive or prepare to arrive, we wanted to provide a last minute reminder and tips on how and where to park your trailers once you have gotten them emptied.
1. You may not park a trailer in any general, handicap, or paid parking areas.
2. When parking, the trailer should be BACKED into the parking space such that the rear of the trailer is closest to the back lane marking string and the tongue is facing the lane of travel (to allow easier pickup and go later).
3. PLEASE park starting at the end of a row. If there is a trailer(s) already in the row where you wish to park, please park as close to it as possible (safely) so that we can maximize the number of trailers in any single row. (Parking in the middle of a row or allowing a large amount of space between your trailer and the one next to it will reduce the number of people who can use that lane for parking their trailer – so please be considerate of your fellow campers.)
4. If your trailer is going to be attached to your vehicle in parking for the duration of your stay, both it and your vehicle should be parked in the oversized lot (detail of this circled in yellow in the first photo attached to this post).
A. The oversized lot is to the west of the battlefield and can be accessed by going through the Battlefield gate, driving past the handicap and paid parking, taking a left turn on Ledevoe Poboische, and then bearing left onto Two Damn Far Road. The lot will have a sign marking its entrance.
5. If you are going to detach your trailers from your vehicle and the trailer by itself is less than 22’ and 6”, then you may only do that in the trailer drop-off lot in the northeast corner of the site (detail of this circled in blue in the second photo attached to this post).
6. If you are driving to trailer drop-off, please note Cooper’s Lake has put in signage that requires NO TRAILERS MAY BE DRIVEN UP AND OVER THE LARGE HILL IN THE NORTHEAST HILL PARKING LOT. Vehicles towing trailers must instead navigate around the base of the hill on Melchior’s and Annun Ridge roads, or approach the trailer drop-off via Cooper’s Loop (the farthest north road on site).
