The Pennsic War2 days agoGreetings all,
We have heard and seen a few concerns expressed in various channels about the potential for use of ‘smart glasses’ or other such less than overt recording devices during otherwise private times (including parties) at Pennsic. Pennsic staff wishes to note that according to federal and state law, as well as site rules, the use of ANY device to record anyone without consent of ALL parties in private locations or circumstances is a violation of all three. Anyone reported to event staff as having engaged in any type of recording in private settings (including parties) without the consent of all subjects of said recording will be subject to ejection from site and potential report to modern authorities. The possession on site of devices which can covertly record video/audio is strongly discouraged.
Thanks
Edmund

The Pennsic War2 weeks agoWar Point Scenarios
As many folks have seen, the full War Point Scenarios will not be printed in the Event Guide this year.
This was not an easy decision, and I have heard many of the concerns raised. I share some of them. However the full War Point Scenario document is large (very thorough), and including it in the printed guide was not feasible in a way that kept it legible and reflecting the intention of the crowns.
The full document is available online (
https://www.pennsicwar.org/2026/05/31/pennsic-53-war-scenarios-tournaments/) as well as as a PDF (at the bottom of the linked page). It can be downloaded and printed before the event at home, at the library, or wherever works best for you. Printing will also be available on site at CLIC for a fee.
QR codes linking to the applicable website pages for the various activities at War will also be available in Martial Activities spaces for those using phones or other devices on site.
To help address concerns about access, during the event there will be a printed reference copy of the War Point Scenarios available in each staffed martial discipline tent. These copies are intended to remain in the tents for everyone’s use. Please do not remove them from the tent, as doing so limits access for other participants.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Yours in Service,
Master Alessandra Brucioli (Bruce)

The Pennsic War is one of the largest events in the Society, and it runs entirely because volunteers step forward to help. Inspection Point is seeking friendly, dependable volunteers to assist with welcoming attendees and helping keep operations running smoothly.
