As per the site rules, you may not drive to the battlefield and stop to load/unload people equipment from any roadway (internal to the site, but especially from Currie Road). This applies to ALL BATTLEFIELD activities (except the Wood’s Battles as those have an existing established mechanism for load/unload).

Attendees observed loading/unloading on ANY road will be told to depart and are subject to having their inspection sticker lifted so that they will not be allowed to participate in any battles/fighting/fencing. Attendees who argue with event staff about being caught ignoring this restriction risk being ejected from the event. There is no situation in which loading/unloading from a road or the side of a ride is acceptable.

“So, if I’m not walking to the battlefield, where can I be dropped?” you ask.

For this year’s event only and starting on Monday of War Week (that is, Monday, August 4th and NOT before), if you are using any vehicle to transport armor, equipment, or people to the Battlefield, you MUST use the Registration Parking lanes to load/unload and then depart the area (circled in blue on the attached map). You will enter site via the Battlefield gate only, turn right into one of the existing lanes, travel as far east within that lane, and after dropping your cargo (people and equipment), you must depart and turn right, exiting onto Currie Road opposite the main gate. You must then RETURN TO A PARKING LOT. You MAY NOT “wait” for the end of battles with the vehicle in your camp (all parking and parking lot rules still apply and “transporting fighters” is not a valid excuse to park in your camp for the day (or even a few minutes). You MAY NOT park in the Registration Parking lanes either. This is strictly a drop-and-go in the same manner as the Wood’s Battle “cattle shoots.”
