YOUR CROWN AND YOUR FELLOW POPULACE DEPEND UPON ON YOU:
The Crowns of the many Kingdoms of the SCA would like to remind their Populace
Members that they know of your great deeds and skills and acts of service because of
award recommendations written by your friends, companions, and peers. Crowns
depend upon your award recommendations to know when to act, and for which awards
each recipient should be recognized. When you see greatness, don’t forget to share your
observations with the Crown! (Many Kingdoms have award recommendation forms
available online via their Kingdom website.)
PALADIN’S PANTRY:
Have you ever found yourself with more to pack at the end of Pennsic than you did when
you set out from home, only to find that your vehicle seems to have shrunk? Is your
kitchen area full of boxes of cereal, pasta, jars of peanut butter, and jugs of bottled water
you can’t remember buying?
Never fear! The annual Paladin’s Pantry Food Drive is here to help by conveying your
camp’s extra food and drink to a local food bank. Find a collection point, indicated by a
sign, and drop off any unopened food or beverages! For more details, see the Paladin’s
Pantry flier on any of the Town Crier boards.
LOST AND FOUND:
As we near the end of Pennsic, we’d like to remind you that if you’ve misplaced an item,
we have a lost and found located at Information Point. This also includes misplaced
items from previous years.
The Lost and Found Auction will be held in the Great Hall on Wednesday, August 6 (TODAY!)
at 2:00 pm. This year’s auction will feature items found at Pennsic 50 and earlier. Cash
purchases only; bidders must register with the auction clerk.
If you wish an announcement posted, bring it to the Town Criers
Coordinator’s office in the Town Hall, 9am-4pm daily, or email it to
crier@pennsicwar.org. Landscape format is preferred. Please do NOT
post announcements to sign boards yourself. Unauthorized additions will
be removed.
