• Open 24 hours a day – every day of Pennsic – First Aid Point next to The Watch tent.
• Staffed by EMTS, Paramedics & Doctors from Ross West View EMSA & Allegheny Health Network.
• Although staffed by EMTS, Paramedics & Doctors, services onsite are limited and you may need to be transported to a local hospital.
• To help limit unexpected costs, we recommend participants carry their health insurance card(s) or a photo of their card on their mobile device.
• Services we DO & DO NOT offer:
• We DO offer evaluations at anytime
• We DO offer acute and emergency medical care
• We DO offer basic first aid items for you to take with you (Bandaids, antibiotic cream, Moleskin, etc.)
• We DO offer a place to cool down outside the tent in our mister station
• We DO offer a handwashing station outside the tent
• We DO offer biomedical waste disposal (including needles) • We DO offer basic over the counter meds — Acetaminophen, Ibuprofen, etc.
• We DO NOT offer refrigeration for medications
• We DO NOT offer testing for COVID-19
• We DO NOT offer any form of Dialysis
• We DO NOT offer any assistance with routine medication administration
• We DO NOT offer any type of food or water in the tent
• We DO NOT offer a place to charge phones or any other appliances • We DO NOT offer assistance with routine home medical devices (such as CPAP’S or Nebulizers)
